The dog feces in nature pose a threat to local waters.

On the pavements, as in the gardens and residential neighborhoods, the dog's thanks turned to ticking mines, enough to disturb the mood of pedestrians in the morning or when they return from a long working day. Walking between these mines is no longer fun. The owners of the dogs are ashamed to remove these wastes manually to throw them later into the landfill, including those who do not care. Others see the abandonment of these wastes as a benefit to nature, for their expected role in herbal feeding and soil enrichment.

But contrary to popular belief, dog manure is not considered fertilizer and provides no benefit to soil and herbs, but it is a contaminant environmental, even as they were classified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, in 1991, as an exporter. They were placed in the herbicide and insect box, along with oil, grease, toxic chemicals and acid drainage released from abandoned mines.

The veterinarian at Les Acclinic Dr. Ali Musawi indicates that dog feces contain a large amount of parasites (parasytes), which can it is transmitted to humans, in addition to the many types of bacteria such as salmonella, echinococcus and worms, which are sometimes not seen in the abstract eye. It is either captured by touching a surface that has been touched by a former bacteria, or by the face and hands of a dog directly licking another dog's feces sometimes. "These bacteria in the event that they go to humans will cause fever, muscle pain, headache, vomiting and diarrhea."

If you are not afraid of these wastes and their risks to health, perhaps attention should be paid to a more serious reality. It is that children are most at risk of all of the above, especially since dirt is often intriguing, touching everything around them to explore the environment surrounding them.

On the other hand, dog feces in nature pose a threat to local waters, contaminating ponds, lakes, rivers and drinking water. When the stool stays on the soil for long periods, after the rains, the water drops begin to be dismantled. The slow spread of toxic bacteria contributes to local water sources.

With a view to raising awareness that judges must be removed from the streets, and with the population's complaints increasing, the Les Acclinic, the area of El-Janzer, with the distribution of iron cans on the pavements of the area, contains a number of bags for the lifting of the judges. This initiative, although important, has not lasted long, owing to the pressure and opposition of many other veterinarians, who saw the "orchestrated propaganda" of the clinic. The bags were later stolen, and some of the iron cans were smashed and removed in several streets, according to Musawi.

It is true that dog litter is not the primary cause of the spread of diseases, parasites and bacteria in the air, which we breathe daily, especially in the light of the waste crisis in Lebanon, but it contributes to the pollution that has occurred. Therefore, dog owners have to bear the responsibility to clean up behind their dogs, in order to prevent the crisis from escalating.

Beware for the dog poo
